Our Team

M.C. Hudson-Franzese

M.C. dedicated the majority of her career in the helping field assisting individuals with disabilities in their therapies and their living skills. She has since developed a unique understanding of first responders through her experiences as a chronic patient and many conversations with our courageous and caring firefighters.

In 2019, M.C. was recommended a service dog by a physician for her Dystonia diagnosis, she went through two service dog placements which helped her acquire the skill set needed to train a dog for service. Throughout this journey she began to see how she could apply her knowledge of psychology and her dog training knowledge to help firefighters and first responders who helped her with her health during emergencies. She realized a need for facility therapy dogs catered specifically to the first responders she had developed a deep concern for. This is how Pawsitive Partners Therapy Dogs and Dog Training came to be.

M.C. encourages the use of only force free and the most current scientifically supported methods with the dogs in her care.

She promotes these practices during training sessions and is always willing to help folks in community who are struggling with dog behavior, so they can use the most ethical practices with their canines. It is MC.’s highest hope that the programming she develops brings communities together. Through the healing work and special qualities of the dogs in her care, she hopes to foster healing and restoration while destigmatizing mental health within departments and beyond. She looks forward to being able to uplift your team by working toward better outcomes both within your department and in the community that you care for.
